Benjamin's Concert Band

Concert Band Gig Benjamin's Big Band, under the auspices of the the Garigal Community Performing Arts Society is setting up a new Concert Band and Drum Police at YoYo's Youth Centre in French's Forest! This marks the beginning of what promises to be fantastic new live performance and musical educational experiences for people in the local area.

We are currently looking for musicians of all ages from local schools and community groups, and those who might have an instrument lying idle at home crying out loud to be played!!!

Concert Band Gig

With the aim of building a 40 piece concert band and expanding the newly added marching drum corps, they will play modern contemporary styles, symphonic wind band repertoire and explosive drum "tattoos".

We are also looking for enthusiastic, motivated parents and adults to get involved with the band committee being formed as part of the organisation which will help keep operations running smoothly.

I am extremely excited about this new venture and am looking forward to making loads of great music with a great team!

Drum Police

Drum Police

We are currently seeking musicians of all ages to expand our Drum Police. This is a mobile unit, able to play static or "on the march". We are now recruiting snare drummers, bass drummers, cymbal players and quad/quin tom players.

Drum Police

Add the dynamic Drum Police to your corporate event! This is like audio fireworks. The Drum Police marches out to grab everyone's attention and kick off your event, or give your special guest the introduction they deserve. An explosive 2 to 5 minute "Tattoo" captures the audiences attention and holds it for the duration of the performance. A great way to set the tone of excitement.

The Drum Police have performed at many events at major venues, including the Sydney Opera House, Ku-Ring-Gai Twilight Concerts, The Sydney Kings basketball matches at the Sydney Entertainment Centre and NRL matches and events.
